- Bring the dashi to a gentle simmer, and turn off the heat. To avoid clumping, transfer 1 cup of dashi to a small bowl and whisk in the miso. Whisk the miso/dashi mixture back into the pot. Taste for seasoning.
- Gently add the tofu, scallions, and wakame. Heat the soup on low just until the tofu has warmed through and the wakame has rehydrated.
