  1. Bring the dashi to a gentle simmer, and turn off the heat. To avoid clumping, transfer 1 cup of dashi to a small bowl and whisk in the miso. Whisk the miso/dashi mixture back into the pot. Taste for seasoning.
  2. Gently add the tofu, scallions, and wakame. Heat the soup on low just until the tofu has warmed through and the wakame has rehydrated.
